You have turned my mourning into joyful dancing. You have taken away my clothes of mourning and clothed me with joy, that I might sing praises to you and not be silent. O Lord my God, I will give you thanks forever!
I heard Howard Hewitt’s song, Amen this morning. He says this song is my prayer. I sing it loud. I sing it all day. As much as I love singing it is not the gift God gave me to minister to people. I sound great blended in with the congregation but my weapon to fight the enemy and keep him under my size 8 is my voice. When you look at life and see the areas where people tried to stop, hinder or attack you this is usually the area God wants to use for deliverance. I was always silenced, told that I don’t know what I’m talking about, no one wants to hear what I have to say. One day, God said your voice is your weapon. I want to hear from you. God wants to sit with you daily. A healthy conversation with the Lord is to talk to Him and listen in expectation. Hear the heart of God.
Father God, your grace is sufficient for me. Your works are wonderful I know this full well. You turned my mourning into joyful dancing. Father, you clothed me in joy and I sing, dance, speak and rejoice praises to You. In my praise and worship I become silent to hear from You. O Lord, I am forever thankful to You. In Jesus Precious Name.
